10th Open International Performance Art Festival in Beijing, China.

Hyperdynamic explores the idea of resistance, surface and matter, concepts which I have worked in recent years through my interventions in public spaces both in Chile and abroad.

For this performance I wore a suit made entirely of red acrylic stones. By using golden elastic bands, I tied up my fingers to ten tree trunks strategically placed several meters away from me. The performance lasted about 15 minutes. The elastic bands were also used in my art work Dynamic Geometry presented at the 798 Biennale in Beijing. 

The red suit represents the fantasy of a covert warrior protected by his armor, providing the work with a fictional character.
